Settings
Configure organization-level retention, privacy mode, and operational shortcuts.
What this menu is for
Settings contains organization-level controls that affect data handling and operational posture. The current core controls are raw usage retention and privacy mode.
Use Settings when the organization needs to tune how long raw usage data remains available and how sensitive payload storage should behave.
Controls
- Retention days: controls how long raw usage events remain available.
- Privacy mode: reduces sensitive payload storage for safer observability.
- Quick links: jump to related surfaces such as Guardrails, Billing, and Provider Keys.
Permissions
Only organization admins should mutate these controls. Other users can review the current policy when they have access, but should not be able to change retention or privacy posture.
Operational impact
Retention and privacy changes affect investigation, reporting, audit-adjacent workflows, and data availability. Shorter retention improves minimization but can reduce investigation windows. Privacy mode reduces exposure but can limit payload-level debugging.
Recommended workflow
- Agree on the retention window with finance, security, and platform owners.
- Enable privacy mode when sensitive payload minimization is more important than payload-level debugging.
- Review data health and reports after changing retention.
- Document the policy internally so support and incident teams know what data remains available.
